Founded in 1970, our Pre-School program is that of a traditional Nursery School. Our three-year-old class emphasizes the social and emotional growth of the child who is at school for the first time. Our four-year-old program emphasizes social, emotional and academic skills needed to enter kindergarten.

We are located on the beautiful Camp Kiwi campus in Mahopac, NY. Our campus offers 20+ beautiful acres. with a 2 acre pond, and various playgrounds there is something for every student to enjoy.

Because we are licensed by NYS Office of Children and Family Services, we are able to offer full-day as well as half-day sessions. Our hours for half day are 9-12 and 1-4, or full day from 9-4. Full-day students bring their own lunch. Parents select the sessions on a first-come, first-served basis.All pre-school and kindergarten programs use the entire camp facility including boating, swimming, pet farm, wilderness and mini-golf. When the weather permits, we are outside everyday. Our philosophy of hands-on education can be seen in the classrooms as well as outside. We feature a new theme every week, illustrated further through our creative art projects, literature and music. Some themes include author study, outer space, nature, transportation, under the sea, dinosaurs, animals, holidays, nutrition and the five senses.
